Grief lives on the same coin as joy. The cycle and all of duality as we know it IS the eternal Rabbit Hole.

I invite you to pause for a moment to reflect on the reality of Samsāra, the 10,000 iterations of yin and yang, our ridiculous societal expectations, and everything in between. As in the painting, with the help of wise sages we can sometimes break free from the Matrix… only to be redirected toward a new state of being.

I believe the greatest salve for grief is to take a very large step back from the context of our own lives. This unending mystery, this Rabbit Hole, is all we have.

This piece was commissioned in conjunction with a special art exhibit as part of "Immersive Events” surrounding the award-winning play: Rabbit Hole.
